Georgia Electrathon is a student-led, hands-on racing series where high school teams design, build, and race electric-powered vehicles. The program blends STEM education, sustainability, and innovation while teaching students real-world engineering and leadership skills.
Students take the lead—from CAD design and fabrication to testing and driving. Each race is an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.
Student-Driven Design: Students design and fabricate their own vehicles from concept to competition.
Efficiency Over Speed: Races are one-hour endurance events emphasizing energy management and design efficiency.
STEM Integration: Students apply physics, engineering, and design thinking to real challenges.

Georgia Electrathon proudly partners with Electrathon America, the national organization governing electric vehicle endurance racing. This affiliation ensures consistent rules, technical resources, and national recognition for Georgia teams.

Membership: $30 for the first vehicle, $15 for additional vehicles
Race Entry: Typically around $25 per event
